Florence Parry Heide Book Signing
I had the privileged to meet Florence Parry Heide author of many bestselling children's' books.
She is a kind, very happy lady, with a beautiful and sincere smile.
I loved watching her talk the people who came to her pre-signing at Heims Toy Store in Downtown Kenosha, just a few blocks south of STUDIO 17.
Saturday Jeni Heim is hosting the official book signing, where the mayor will say few words, followed by a children's choir and a book reading by Florence herself.
If you would like to join us, come on down! It's a free event, with free ice cream from 10-1 (well I think, it actually might be 11-1 or maybe neither of those is right! LOL But there will be free ice cream at some point!!!)

Book Now For Your Holiday Session!
Hey Guys!
Christmas is right around the corner, can you believe it!!! Oh my gosh this year has just flown by! I could have sworn that the snow just left, and already you can feel the nip in the air. It's just craziness!!!
Which leads me to think we need to start getting on the those fall family sessions!
The leaves are starting to change and people are already starting to book. We're going to fill up quick!
So what are you guys thinking as far as your family sessions go? The possibilities are endless!
I would really like people to start thinking out of the box, and I would love to hear your ideas!
I had one of my clients talk about dressing up in pjs for part of their session and look at the newspaper, with their daughter squished in between. How fun is that!!!
So think about your family and what you like to do, whether it's going to the park, or just hanging out in bed. It can be anything, I can't wait hear from you!
So to make this interesting and see what people come up with, I would like to offer an incentive.
The family that I think has the most creative and good looking idea will get 25 custom holiday cards to send to friends and family! The winning family will be posted on the blog.

The Clark Family
This is a portrait session I did for a friend of mine and her family and what a good looking family they are too! :) We met at Illlinois Beach State Park in Winthrop Harbor, IL.
It was a beautiful eveing, perfect for family photos.
If you are intersted in having your family photos taken, please feel free to call or email us and we'll get your session all set up.
If you want your portraits in time for Christmas, you must have your session completed by November 18th. If your in need of Christmas cards we offer beautiful custom cards that will make you the envy of all your friends!! :)
